Room Descriptions
General
All rooms have fitted carpets and thermostatic electric heaters. In each room there are bookshelves with a choice of reading matter in French and English - many other books are available on demand. We provide a wide selection of leaflets and brochures of the region in every bedroom, free for our guests to use and keep as a souvenir of their visit. All bath/shower rooms have heated towel rails and a thermostatically controlled shower. A cot is available for those travelling with a small child. Just let us know if you'll need it.

Booking conditions
Our very reasonable prices mean that our rooms tend to be booked fairly early in the year, so it pays to book early especially if you are hoping to visit during the French high season from 14th July to 15th August.
When we get a preliminary enquiry, we do not reserve a room, nor do we warn other possible guests of any interest in the room. If you then make a booking, the room is provisionally booked, while we await confirmation. The length of time that the room is held varies in function of the time taken for mail to arrive. While we are delighted to take a booking by telephone or email, please note that we do require written confirmation of your booking, together with a small non-returnable deposit.
We very much regret that we do not accept payment by credit cards. Deposits therefore, should be sent by cheque drawn on your bank in your own currency. We will hold this as a guarantee of your arrival, and when you arrive, we will return it. If you do not hold a french bank account, please note that we will need payment in cash. (Euros, pounds sterling or US dollars are all accepted). If you do have a French bank account, we are delighted to accept payment by cheque. The Eurocheque system has been abandoned, and therefore we can't accept Eurocheques.
Please note that if confirmation accompanied by a deposit is not received within the delay agreed at the time of booking, then your reservation will lapse and we will endeavour to let the room.
Arrival and departure times
While we are delighted to receive our guests at any time, if you plan to arrive before 4.00pm please do let us know so that we may be there to welcome you. Our meal normally starts at 7.30pm, so if you plan to arrive after then, please inform us even if you are not planning to eat with us. Please note that rooms not taken up by 8.00pm will be relet, unless you inform us that you will arrive late.
We normally serve breakfast any time from 7.30am, although after 9.30, it becomes a self service affair. We generally expect guests to have vacated their rooms before 11am, in order that we may make them ready for the next occupant. If for some reason this would be inconvenient, do let us know, and we'll see if we can help.
